1. How long does a delivery take?

 

Germany:

Delivery of abroad parcel consignments via UPS: 2-7 workdays

Delivery by forwarding agents with Geis within Germany: 2-4 workdays

 

Abroad:

Delivery of abroad parcel consignments via UPS: 2-7 workdays

Delivery by abroad forwarding agents with Geis: on enquiry (depending on the volume)

 

Express delivery within Germany:

Next workday express deliveries can only be guaranteed for Germany (as far as the goods are in stock and you place your order by 1 p.m.)

2. What does a delivery cost?

Germany:

Our freight charges for online orders with delivery address in Germany are 4.95 €. A minimum order amount of € 50.00 net is required for a delivery free of shipping costs.

Shipments by forwarding agent are excluded, they will be charged with € 50.-- net per palette.

For stock articles which can be sent by parcel, we offer 24-hour service, provided we receive your order by 1 p.m.

Please note that we charge an express surcharge of € 9.50 net per parcel.

Unless otherwise agreed upon, we reserve the right to send partial deliveries.


Austria:

Our freight charges for online orders with delivery address in Austria are 4.95 €. A minimum order amount of € 50.00 net is required for a delivery free of shipping costs.

Shipments by forwarding agent are excluded, they will be charged with € 90.-- net per palette.

For stock articles which can be sent by parcel, we offer 24-hour service, provided we receive your order by 1 p.m.

4. What is partial delivery?

Partial delivery may be necessary for consignment reasons. This means that you will not only receive 1 parcel with all ordered goods but your consignment will be divided into several parcels.

5. What does partial delivery cost?

Of course, you will be charges with the shipping charges only once.

6. What are the methods of payment?

Payment on receipt of invoice

You can pay upon receipt of invoice and profit from a 2% discount for terms of payment of 10 days or 21 days strictly net. The invoice is being issued by e-mail with pdf attachment or by mail if you should not have informed us about your e-mail address

Payment by credit card:

You can pay easily with a VISA or mastercard credit card. The data transfer will be made via 256 SSL. The credit card will be debited after conclusion of the bargain

Payment by Paypal:

Another payment method is Paypal which also enables you safe, easy and fast payment. Fast: Payments by PayPal will arrive very fast. We can then send off your order immediately and you will receive the goods sooner than with prepayment.

Payment by prepayment:

You can pay by prepayment and will get 4% discount. This discount will be deducted automatically from your invoice and will be clearly visible on the invoice. Your order will be handled by us as soon as we received your payment. The delivery dates indicted refer to the date when we receive your money on our account. For payments from abroad all costs for the remittance have to be borne by the buyer which include also the fee for the remittance.

Default of payment:

Should you default with payment of the purchase price, an interest rate of 5 % above the base lending rate according to §1 of the discount rate transfer law from June9, 1998 is to be paid on this amount. If a higher damage caused by default will occur, we will have to charge you for the incurred damages especially all collection expenses or possible extrajudicial collection costs.

8. Do I have to register to place an order with the decorado online shop?

Should you already have a decorado customer account you just have to register with your e-mail address and your password. Your address data is already saved in your customer account. Now, you can conveniently continue your purchase. If you do not have a customer account in the decorado online shop you can of course open it any time and make use of the advantages of a convenient online shopping. You can, however, also continue your purchase without a customer account. For this, just click the button “order without registration”.

9. How can I find a certain item in the decorado online shop?

The easiest way to find a certain item is with the help of the search field. Enter a keyword top left like e.g. “Halloween” and confirm. You can also search for the name of the item or the 13 digit item Number if you know them from one of your former purchases or from the catalogue. Of course, you can also click a category and view items with the article filter. Here you can the select according to material, colour and style. If you want to switch off the filter again and view all items in this category, just click on “clear filter”.

10. How can I find out if an item is available in the desired quantity?

All items that can be placed in the basket with the shopping cart button are available. Just give in the desired quantity in the quantity field and confirm. If the desired order quantity is higher than the quantity which is available it will be displayed. In case of higher demand, an item may still be shown in green although it is already out of stock due to orders in the course of the day. In this case, you will be informed immediately and already transferred money will be reimbursed.

11. Why are items that are sold out still in the online offer?

12. Is there a minimum order amount in the online shop?

There is a minimum order amount of 24,00 €

13. How can I find out if you got my order?

Right after you sent off an order you will receive an order confirmation to the e-mail address indicated by you. If you should not receive it, then please also check your spam file. As registered user you can view the status of your order and shipment under “my account/my orders” any time.

14. How can I get decorado catalogues?

With the button “catalogues” on top next to “direct order” you can download our catalogues, scroll online in the different chapters or also order them by mail. The catalogues are being sent off once a week and takes therefore about 2-7 workdays. Catalogues and catalogue sending are free.

15. I received my order but some items are still missing. Is this possible?

This is possible, as our goods can in special cases be sent from 2 different warehouses and one postman can be faster than the other. A deviation of one day is no exception. If some goods should no longer be available or need a longer delivery time we will of course inform you by e-mail immediately. Should you however still be uncertain, you can of course also get in touch with us by e-mail or telephone.

17. How does a direct order work?

If you already know the item Number or order via webshop catalogue with the catalogue to save freight charges, you can also save time. Just enter the item Number and desired quantity and confirm. This way, you do not have to search each single item, open and put it in the shopping cart.

18. What are project lists?

With the project lists, we want to make your work easier. When you are e.g. adorner and are during the planning phase for different customers, you can create an extra list with the appropriate items for every customer and save it. Or you are retailer and are planning your winter decoration already in summer. Creating project lists does not pledge you to buying and the items are not booked. You can find the button “project lists” on top directly next to “service”. To create or view your project lists, you must first of all register with your e-mail address and your password. To create project lists you have to enter a name for the list, e.g. the customer’s name. There is also some space for remarks. Then click on “save”. The new project list was saved now and you can add items. In the detail view of the items you can see a little pointing arrow next to the items’ description. When you move the mouse over this arrow, you can ready among others “in the project list”. If you click on this field, you will have the choice in which one of your project lists the item will be put. Just choose and confirm.

19. How can I exchange resp. return goods?

All originally packed items can be returned within 14 days unlimited and without stating reasons. Films and fabrics which a re cut to length and custom-made items are excluded from exchange. For keeping the exchange date, the goods must be returned in due time.

To handle the exchange you can choose among two possibilities:

 

1) Send a postpaid consignment:

You can frank the consignment yourself and return it to us.

2) Ask for a return service:

Or you call our return service under +49 (0)241 8 89 79 - 0 and we ask DPD to collect the goods from you. For return consignments with DPD we charge you all in € 5.-- per parcel and € 15.-- per pallet for consignments with forwarder within Germany. Other countries upon request.

 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept freight collect consignments. Please enclose by all means a copy of the delivery note in the parcel so that we can allocate the return consignment and issue a credit note promptly. As soon as we received the goods you will receive a credit note from us by mail which you can either set off with your next purchase or which you can have disbursed.
